However, the victory by Washington was significant in providing some margin of error should a loss come as the team navigates the difficult Pac-12 schedule that finishes with Southern California, Utah, Oregon State and Washington State. That margin of error likely no longer exists for the Ducks, who also face a rough run-in. And what about Georgia? There should be more to sort out this week, starting with No. 6 Penn State's trip to No. 3 Ohio State helping to start sort out the three unbeaten left in the Big Ten Utah and Southern California — already with one loss each — will face off in what effectively is an elimination game for the playoff race. Alabama and Tennessee also have one loss in the SEC and they will clash in Tuscaloosa.
