A caring couple in Bangkok, Thailand, showcased their compassion and resourcefulness by saving a drowning cat from a canal. The pair sprung into action when they noticed the distressed feline struggling in the water several feet below where they were standing. Using a rope and bucket,, they tossed down an impromptu DIY lifesaver and carefully lowered it into the canal.

After many unsuccessful attempts to fish and scoop the cat into the bucket, a professional rescuer was lowered into the canal and saved the struggling cat.
